Christa
I am the owner of The Pet Guardians, and a certified professional dog trainer working in the pet care industry for 20+ years.
I began by working at a veterinarian’s office where I was introduced to the world of rescuing. After I began to foster and rescue dogs and cats, I became a trainer to better understand my own dogs' needs better, and to give them the best life possible.
Over the years I have managed a doggy daycare, worked on a horse farm and have become a very experienced pet sitter for an assortment of different animals. I am the proud mom of a Catahoula Leopard dog mix and a Chihuahua.

The best feeling in the world is going to work every day and not feeling like you’re even working because you love your job so much and know you are making a difference to our most cherished family members!

I’ve been a pet sitter for about 20 years. I started out rescuing dogs and fostering. I have experience working with not only dogs but cats, horses, chickens, goats, rabbits, birds. I love all animals and find the work the most rewarding. Kisses are the best reward.
Hi, I’m Michelle and I am excited to be a member of the Pet Guardians team! I come from a long line of animal lovers and grew up watching my mom train our shelties as a child. I have always trained my own dogs, which I truly enjoy. I had my first professional pet sitting job 20 years ago, at my cousin’s business in North Carolina. I also became a Licensed Vet tech around that time. Since then I have traveled and had many experiences, but the love of animals has always remained strong within me. It’s an honor to care for them!
I currently have two dogs, Scout and Bear. They are my constant joy and comfort. I can’t imagine life without animals and the joy they bring me every day. I love going to work and seeing all of my furry friends on a regular basis. It’s always fun and exciting, especially when I meet a new dog or breed. It’s great to be part of such a professional and compassionate team that always puts the animals first!

Hannah - Grooming
I've been in the pet care industry for over nine years and have a true passion for animals! I am from California and followed my passion to New York, animals have a soft spot in my heart and I strive to make your pets as beautiful as their personalities! I began grooming in 2016 at Petsmart, and then worked at a high end grooming salon for four years. I managed a salon before making the leap and going out on my own.

I am specialized in all breed cuts and offer creative grooming such as pet dying and nail painting, and I am experienced with hand stripping and all grooming techniques. I groom and bathe cats as well, so we love and welcome either or both!

At home I have a Bichon Frise, a Pitbull and a kitty who are my babies! My clients' pets mean the world to me and I know yours will too! I am blessed to be able to build trusting, loving relationships with your fur babies, and to help them be the absolute BEST version of themselves!
